I used Lucky Paw after my tattoo appointment and it was amazing. The cream felt super soothing right away and completely took away the usual itching I get during healing. I also loved that it was not sticky and absorbed nicely without leaving that greasy feeling. I applied it a few times a day and my skin felt calm and hydrated the whole time. Really great stuff and I would highly recommend it for tattoo aftercare.

This balm is wonderful during that itchy, flaky phase. Provides a ton of relief! I don’t mind the smell at all but just be aware it is medicinal smelling almost like bengay/pain relief cream. Feels very cooling/icy. Definitely takes my mind off the itching 🙂 also love the plastic-free packaging. Hydrating and lasts hours for me!

Prior to using this product, I would have typically used coconut oil for the healing phase of my tattoos. I read about this product and it did sound good and wanted to try it as one of the artists at the shop I go to was selling it. I thought at least it would be more convenient to use compared to coconut oil.
After using this I would honestly not go back to using anything else! It applies easily, a little goes a long way, absorbs quickly, no greasy skin. The menthol cools and calms the skin so nicely and I did not mind the smell at all. It keeps the skin hydrated for much longer than lotion or coconut oil. The itchiness and flakiness was so minimal I almost thought my tattoo was healing weird as I had had a lot of flaking in the past and alot of irritation during healing. This balm is really wonderful. I should mention that I have very sensitive skin and I had no issues using this balm. I think it really improved my healing speed and skin barrier as my tattoo healed.
The only negative I have to say is about the tube it is packaged in. Eventually as you get about half way empty the sides start to crack and some product leaks out of the tiny cracked spots. This happens with this type of packaging across the board though. Not sure how to fix that and it has nothing to do with the actual product.
Highly recommend this balm to anyone!! I’m so glad I found this.
